With the current economic climate, the federal government must account for every dollar spent, whether it’s on defense or environmental protection. E & E has a 40-year track record of exemplary federal contracting, as evidenced by our consistently high quality ratings in federal ACASS consultant ranking system.
We have partnered with the federal government to provide sound, innovative, high-quality environmental solutions on hundreds of contracts valued at over $1.3 billion with multiple federal agencies including: Department of Defense; Corps of Engineers; Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, and US Forest Service; Department of Agriculture; Department of Justice; Environmental Protection Agency; Center for Disease Control; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; and Department of Homeland Security. Our current work includes a broad range of master planning, sustainability, NEPA, natural resources, engineering, ecosystem restoration, hazardous waste, GIS/information technology, and public involvement services.
With a multidisciplinary team of over 1,100 scientific and engineering experts, we have the resources necessary to provide agencies with smart, innovative solutions to a full range of environmental problems. But unlike many larger consulting firms, E & E has a relatively flat corporate structure, which means our local project managers are qualified and available to respond to your needs without layers of managerial approval.

As a continuation of its work under previous NAVFAC Atlantic contracts, E & E provided environmental planning and engineering support by preparing a high-quality, final EIS documenting impacts of the introduction/home basing of F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet aircraft to the United States East Coast, to replace the F-14 Tomcats and earlier-version F/A-18 Hornets.
E & E prepared an RMP and EIS for BLM’s Canyons of the Ancients Planning Area, a National Monument with unique cultural value due to the thousands of pre-historic archaeological sites associated with ancient puebloan (“Anasazi”) cultures.
