EIS for Proposed Use of FPSO Systems on Outer Continental Shelf, BOEMRE, Gulf of Mexico

E & E prepared an 800-page, programmatic EIS nine months ahead of schedule to assess the proposed use of floating production, storage, and off-loading (FPSO) systems in the deepwater areas of the Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf.  We used a strategic technical approach and integrated use of Web-based information transfer for project team communication and public participation.  E & E arranged and convened a series of five public scoping meetings to solicit public input, then completed four public hearings to receive public comments.
