FutureGen Siting Application, Henderson, Kentucky
Identified site attributes and unique geologic and natural features suitable for the long-term storage of CO2. Provided technical support in the development of a site selection application.

Huntley and Indian River IGCC Projects, New York and Delaware
Provided environmental permitting support for the development of 630-MW Integrated Gasification Combined-Cycle (IGCC) plants. Participated in the development of the design basis, identified site suitable for CO2 injection, and provided an environmental benefits and impacts analysis.

Port of Kalama IGCC Plant EIS, Washington
Based on public comments, the application materials, and our extensive power plant and EIS experience, identified the most significant issues for the development of an EIS. Also conducted a review of the Administrative DEIS to determine whether the key environmental issues had been adequately addressed.

Carbon Capture and Sequestration Feasibility Study, Kentucky
Conducted a feasibility study to determine potential for geological sequestration of CO2 from a coal-fired power plant in western Kentucky. Provided a comparison of the feasibility of carbon sequestration at the new plant site with an existing site.
