GreenRide®
E & E’s award-winning, Web-based rideshare application—recognized for ease-of-use—reduces automobile dependency. It has been purchased in 16 states by transit agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, large employers, and campuses to offer ride-matching services to more than 30 million people nationwide.
E & E developed GreenRide to promote the use of sustainable transportation alternatives (i.e., carpooling, vanpooling, traveling by bus or train, bicycling, and walking). Encouraging individuals to ride with others helps improve air quality, decrease traffic congestion, and conserve fuel.
Fully customizable, GreenRide helps users instantly identify and rank individuals and transportation modes that match their routes, travel schedules, and preferences. Using the latest ESRI GIS technology, GreenRide helps daily commuters, as well as those scheduling vacation or conference travel, to find options quickly.

Comments from past clients
"GreenRide is a good choice of ridesharing software for The Rapid. It is easy to use, affordable, very functional, and allows potential carpoolers to setup and manage their own secure accounts which frees up staff time.” —Business Transportation Coordinator, The Rapid
"Walsh Environmental and Ecology and Environment, Inc. were wonderful firms to work with. … [NFRMPO] had a unique request to build a carpool matching service that … not only needed to be very customer friendly, it also needed to have administrative tools that could be accessed from multiple network systems. The Walsh and E & E team tackled the task with enthusiasm. I appreciated the 'can do' attitude, the entire team worked as creative problem solvers and their solutions worked! I had complete confidence in the team’s talents and thoroughness." —Rideshare Program Coordinator, North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization
"The [GreenRide] program is pretty amazing. It’s been so popular that we’ve taken it a step further and gone from carpooling to van-pooling." —Marketing Coordinator, North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization
